Hispanic Marketing Senior Account Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for an advertising professional who is knowledgeable and passionate about the Hispanic culture. We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to help lead and grow our agency’s multicultural efforts and capabilities.

You will report to the VP of Account Management and support them in leading all advertising business efforts. Our search is for a candidate who can maintain and foster relationships with multiple clients and partner agencies while also supervising the execution of advertising campaigns with staff. We are looking for a team leader with a high level of independent thought leadership to accomplish day-to-day tasks, identify solutions to complex problems, and bring value to all client initiatives and investments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Account Engagement:

  • Continuously identify opportunities for growth and improvement of the client’s business
  • Proactively attend to the clients’ needs while working with senior staff to solidify the agency as the clients’ partner and industry expert
  • Meet regularly with clients, and with internal/external teams, to troubleshoot and improve necessary processes
  • Remain in contact with clients and internal staff to ensure all tasks and initiatives on each client’s behalf are moving forward

Brand Stewardship:

  • Ensure work is reviewed before being presented to client, and delivered in a timely manner
  • Support VP of Account Management and agency leaders to ensure client goals are being met
  • Remain informed about the client’s core business and marketplace, sharing knowledge with the client and agency teams alike
  • Ensure all work meets scope alignment, expectations, guidelines and compliance

Creative and Team Support:

  • Spearhead campaign and creative brief development, aligning internally and with the client
  • Assist in strategic planning efforts overall, providing support in the development of key strategic deliverables (macrotrends, Hispanic audience overviews, brand strategies, etc.)
  • Support creative team with concepting to bridge ideas with brand strategy and communication objectives

Other Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, assist and mentor junior- to mid-level staff while evaluating their growth and development on an ongoing basis
  • Set an example of passion, discipline and dedication
  • Motivate all members of the agency team to exceed expectations
  • Ensure all information is handled according to client’s and agency’s protocols
  • Work with accounting department to ensure budget parameters and agency goals are met
  • Work with HR and others to ensure project management and workflow needs are met
  • Provide support on the agency’s new business efforts and non-profit initiatives


  • BBA in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Hispanic media outlets, plus traditional and digital media channels
  • At least six (6) years of experience as an Account Executive and/or Sr. Account Executive working on dedicated
  • Hispanic marketing initiatives
  • Track record of managerial and leadership experience in an advertising agency environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills within all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook or equivalent
